Secretary

Greg is a highly experienced parks professional with a distinguished 29-year career (1985-2014) dedicated to managing and protecting Victoria’s natural landscapes. Having progressed through a variety of roles—from Park Assistant; Ferntree Gully National Park to Ranger in Charge Gembrook—Greg has expertise in environmental stewardship, staff leadership, asset management, and collaborative stakeholder engagement.  A skill set developed via his large role in the development and implementation of the Bunyip State Park Management Plan (1998), the Bunyip Regional Recreation Framework Strategy (2006) and the Deer Control program for Dandenong Ranges NP involving stakeholder volunteers (2013). He has an Associate Diploma of Applied Science in Resource Management (Frankston TAFE), a Cert IV in Business Management (Graduate Business School) and accreditations as Fire Operations Officer Level 2, Fire Resources Officer Level 3, and Firearms Instructor.
